After extensive research and thought on the subject I feel as though the standard warfare rules should be reformed. Not many of the newer players will know this and I doubt many remember, but it was actually Mutestory and myself who started the first wartime raids (during the First Bresho-Lakotan War)and set down the original rules. Since then the system of raiding has changed drastically. It is my belief and conclusion that a riad has absolutely no point and is counter productive toward resolving issues. This is because a raid is not as much a battle as it is greifing. One side is highly disadvantaged to the other and its an almost guaranteed win. There are little to no ways to defend against a raid except walking around in full Armour at all times, but still the numerical advantage can overcome this. Therefore it would seems to me that a raid concludes absolutly nothin and due to the loose ruleset a raid can be anything from a random pvp to a wither attack to a 12 hour occupation. The system is too loose and too pointless. It has no end game to it and it allows thievery among other things.

I therefore put forth that the rules of war be switched to the Bremenian code of planned battles, these battles should be fully administered by the moderators and due time shall be given of a predetermined number of hours or days to prepare.
